Introduction
A Walk-In Stability Chamber is a large-capacity controlled environment designed to allow personnel to physically enter the chamber and manage stability studies directly inside. These systems are ideal for large-scale pharmaceutical operations where high-volume batches, bulk samples, or packaged products must be tested simultaneously.
Functionally, walk-in chambers operate just like reach-in stability chambers—precisely controlling temperature and relative humidity—but offer significantly greater capacity, uniformity, and operational convenience for long-term, accelerated, intermediate, and stress stability studies.

Dew Point Control Overview
Dew Point Control is a highly efficient method for maintaining precise humidity conditions inside stability chambers. It functions by controlling the coil temperature according to the dew point and psychrometric properties of air.
- Measures atmospheric moisture accurately
- Determines the temperature at which air becomes fully saturated with its existing water vapour
- Identifies the point where dew or frost begins to form
- Coil temperature is controlled based on dew point and psychrometric chart calculations, ensuring highly stable RH control
This method is significantly more energy-efficient than conventional steam injection or water-spray humidity systems.
